LIFE UPDATE!

I've recently been informed that if I take a couple of extra classes over the summer and do an internship, I'll have a double major in Pre-Professional legal studies AND criminal justice. Then shortly after discovering this, I was kind of offered an internship position with permanent job potential...I say kind of because nothing is written in stone and I still have classes until I'm ready for the internship so I don't want to get my hopes up. However, the job is working with the North Carolina Juvenile Justice Department and I'd be dealing with delinquents that have to be in a home (kind of like juvenile detention but more homey than jail like) and their court affairs. Then upon getting my masters (which I was already planning to do), I can be a juvenile court counselor...which is not only an amazing/fun/interesting job, but it also pays REALLY well PLUS I get a set of handcuffs. I love law. I love Justice. (I will blow a justice elode..KIDDING) and I love kids. I'm pretty excited just talking about it. So what does this mean about law school? I'm not ruling it out..but i'm delaying it for now. I want to at least try this and see what happens. It's too amazing and it was offered to ME!

More great news...Justin and I were approved for our Townhouse. It's so super cute with 2 floors of space for us to move around. I can't even tell you how excited I am after living with him and his roommates. I need a girly place with a cute kitchen and bathroom! We move in June 3rd...and the next few months need to fly by. Come visit! we have a spare office that can easily store a blow-up bed.

Tomorrow night we are heading to Charlotte to take care of some business and hopefully come back with our new kitty.

The wind here is ridiculous.

my purse was stolen today....and to top things off, justin's wallet was in there from when we went grocery shopping last night. Awesome. I've now spent my sweet friday night cancelling credit cards, bank cards, trying to get a new drivers license (which is IMPOSSIBLE when you're out of state), filing a police report, and other little shit that I have to take care of now. SWWWWEEEEET.

This past week was absolutely amazing. First the birthday, then off to Michigan to introduce my boy to the family and see my best FUCKING friend and her husband. Thanksgiving was wonderful, the week was a bit short, but overall it was amazing fun. Even went to the pistons Friday night to top off the good stuff.

if you didn't know I was home or didn't get to see me -- Get over it. I'll be home in a month, and I hadn't seen my best friend in over 9 months.

I'm REALLY enjoying not working at KFC. I just shopped and I feel really good about it. Tonight I officially became a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity. Such an accomplishment. Maybe shopping was my reward for that. Yes, that sounds good. I just sang "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" in the car on the way home and it made me really happy. I love the weather here right now. It's so beautiful here too. The leaves are all different colors and the trees line the mountains so you can just see an amazing array of colors surrounding you. My birds are singing to each other and its really cute. Sometimes they bob their heads back and forth really fast and i read that it means they're excited. How cute! Party hard this weekend guys.

I spent this last weekend with Justin's family. I seriously love them and they love me back. We found a very cute, cheap apartment that we'll probably be moving into this summer. We got our halloween costumes put together and there better be a huge fucking party this weekend to show off. I'll post pics after. I have 7 - 9 classes left until I have completed my B.S. in poli sci and a minor in Spanish. Jealous?! I love life. And p.s. Ashlee Pee - how can anyone over the age of 12 not know that a lot is two words?

it's been quite some time.

Ummmmm....
-I put in my 2-week notice at KFC. [hoping to get a job at a hotel here]. Last day is Oct. 17th.
-I'm still taking 7 classes and working ridiculous amounts of hours...but i'm alive.
-Justin and I are doing VERY well. always have been.
-Fall break is in exactly 2 weeks. THANK GOD AND THANK YOU N.C. FOR REQUIRING THIS AT PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES.
-I'm getting inducted into Phi Alpha Delta. It's the pre-law honor society, nigs.
-Going to see Buckethead on Friday night with my boo. Can't effing wait.

Basically, I work, go to classes, write papers, do homework, sleep a bit, and spend time with Justin.
I'm super happy, super excited, and DOING SO WELL.

I got another class added to my schedule. That's a total of 21 hours plus working 40 hours[maybe more on some weeks]. I've never felt this much anxiety and it's only day two. Please don't be offended if you don't hear from me until Christmas.

i forgot to tell you guys. I drove by the quinn road house and somebody lives there now.

Exactly 2 months ago, Justin and I went on our first date to the parkway. It was the first time we ever hung out together. Things happened FAST!!! Feels like so much longer though. I miss him :(.

Why do I wake up every morning at 5:25 on the dot when I don't have to be up until 6:15? That's some Emily Rose shit right there. Seriously, it's been like that for 2 weeks.

I don't know where to begin this. I dont even know why i'm attempting to give details...some things are just hard to explain. This weekend was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I went to Charlotte with Justin, friday and saturday, to meet his family....AND I LOVE THEM. I don't understand why he and I get along so well, and work so well together, and fit so well together, but it really doesn't matter at this point. I'm really, really happy for the first time in a long time.

Justin's mom gave me this personality test. I'm an ISFJ for anyone who cares. His dad's dog ate my brand new brown sandals. The beds in his mom's house are muy comfortable, and his mom got me drunk off wine during a crazy thunderstorm and I saw 2 UFO's.[I'm not kidding, and I wasn't obnoxiously drunk....THEY WERE REALLY UFO'S]

I went to discovery place on Saturday. So much fun. I felt like I was back in physics with Mr. Scheff and Biology with Ms. Romel [I dont think I spelled either of those right, but you guys get the picture.] I learned a lot, and re-learned even more.

However, yesterday was the first day in over 2 weeks that I didn't spend with him. He stayed home and I came back to boone for work and school. ick. I really missed waking up to him this morning.
